Our Home
We are able to accommodate 21 residents, mainly in single rooms of ample proportions, all of which are beautifully furnished, most have en-suite facilities. All rooms have a staff call system to ensure safety, a TV point and private telephone facilities are available. There is WIFI throughout the home.
A resident’s room remains his or her personal space and we actively encourage our residents to make it feel like home. We strive to give them as much choice as possible so they can enjoy their own privacy or the companionship of others as they wish.
We have two comfortable and homely lounges, both with TV and Alexa which overlook the attractive front garden which is enjoyed by residents.
We have a light and spacious dining room that overlooks the attractive gardens which are enjoyed by residents throughout the summer months.
The home has a colourful, peaceful sensory garden with a large fish pond and a smaller ornamental pond where residents can relax and listen to the sound of birds singing throughout the day. The sensory plants give a calming and relaxing aroma to the air around them and the bright colours help to enlighten their senses.
Residents are encouraged to help with planting and growing vegetables for use in the home and can help with feeding the fish and light gardening duties if the wish to. The ponds and plants attract many wildlife including butterflies, bees, dragon flies and even the heron can be seen visiting often.
Activities, summer events, mealtimes and visiting can all be brought into the garden for all to enjoy.

Our bathroom facilities include walk in bath and shower rooms to allow everyone to enjoy bathing, with or without assistance.
All laundry in done in-house and included in care fees.
We have a wide range of visiting professionals who include Chiropodist, Dentist, District Nurses, GP, local vicar and Optician who visit the home regularly, allowing residents to access these and many other services as and when they choose.
The home has a beautiful and very much loved cat ‘Ringo’ who has been with us since a kitten. He is very much part of the family and enjoys all the attention given to him by the residents which in turn has an uplifting effect on the health and wellbeing of our residents.
