Facilities

We are able to accommodate  21 residents in mainly single rooms of ample proportions, all beautifully furnished and many benefiting from en suite facilities. All rooms have a staff call system to ensure safety.  A TV point is available in every room as is the facility to have a private telephone.

A residents own room remains their personal space and we actively encourage them to personalise it and make it feel like home. We strive to give residents as much choice as possible so that they can enjoy their own privacy or the companionship of others as they wish.

We have two lounges, both with  TV and CD  overlooking the attractive and sheltered gardens which are a major feature of the home and much enjoyed during  the summer months.
The dining room has tables for four to dine together and enjoy meals in a cheerful environment.
Our bathroom facilities include power assisted baths and wheel-in showers to ensure everyone can enjoy bathing or showering with assistance if required.

All laundry is done in house and is included in the care fees. We have visiting services that our residents are able to access as and when they choose including hairdresser, chiropodist, optician and dental services as well as G.P. services and visiting ministers of religion.

The staff team is led by Niki Crossley, an experienced and dedicated manager. The team includes carers, domestic and ancillary staff, an activity co-ordinator and experienced chefs. Staff training is a major priority of the home and the majority of staff have achieved qualification in care of the elderly.

The team share the vision that residents are at the heart of everything we do and everyone works together to make the home a happy place to live and work.
